Introduction
MSP Blueshift Pty Ltd (“MSP Blueshift”) is committed to operating responsibly and transparently and to addressing the risks of modern slavery in our operations and supply chains. We recognize the importance of taking active steps to prevent all forms of modern slavery, including forced labor, human trafficking, and child labor, in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth).
Our Business
MSP Blueshift is an award-winning IT Managed Service Provider based in Flemington, Victoria, with additional offices in the Philippines. Since 2010, we have provided IT managed services, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and internet and voice services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Australia. Our commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction underpins everything we do.
Our Commitment
MSP Blueshift is dedicated to ensuring that modern slavery has no place in our business or supply chains. We are committed to:
Complying with all applicable laws and regulations related to modern slavery.
Identifying and addressing risks of modern slavery in our operations and supply chains.
Promoting ethical practices and respecting human rights throughout our business relationships.
Identifying and Managing Risks
We recognize the importance of assessing modern slavery risks across our supply chains and operations. To achieve this, we:
Conduct due diligence on suppliers and contractors to evaluate their compliance with ethical labor practices, particularly those in higher-risk regions.
Collaborate with suppliers to improve visibility and transparency within their operations, providing support where needed to meet modern slavery compliance requirements.
Use risk-based assessments to focus our efforts on high-risk suppliers and encourage them to adopt stronger safeguards against modern slavery.
Operations and Supply Chains
Our operations span Australia and the Philippines. We comply with local labor laws and maintain robust employee policies that promote ethical standards and safeguard human rights. While operations in the Philippines may pose a higher inherent risk due to geographical and sectoral factors, our workforce primarily consists of skilled, white-collar professionals, and we ensure compliance with local laws and competitive remuneration.
We acknowledge that we have limited direct control over the practices of our suppliers, especially those operating in higher-risk regions. However, we are committed to minimising these risks by prioritizing reputable suppliers, fostering open communication, and promoting awareness of modern slavery obligations within our supply chains. This includes working collaboratively with suppliers to ensure they adopt ethical practices and address modern slavery risks effectively.
MSP Blueshift’s supply chain includes IT services, hardware, software, and office support such as facilities management and consumables. Our suppliers are primarily based in Australia, but some source products or services internationally, including from regions with higher modern slavery risks.
